A Must WATCH!

Growing up I never thought that I would be living in Florida.  I never thought that God would move me to the place He has and do the things that He has done in my life.

One of the blessings that God has given me since moving to Orlando is a friendship/big brother relationship with a man named Hal.  When I first met Hal I never thought we would be as close as we are now.  Our friendship has taken us on some fun and exciting adventures from mission trips to motorcycle trips and even to "The SWAMP" aka Florida Field.

Since Hal was a graduate of the University of Florida I quickly became a Florida Gator fan and of course a TIM TEBOW FAN.  Over the course of 3 years many of our adventures took us to see some of the greatest college football I have ever seen.  I was even blessed to attend the National Championship Game between the University of Florida and the University of Oklahoma.

Since being drafted the hype around TEBOW has been unreal and the crazy thing is that he has lived up to all the hype.  Many people have posted many things about TEBOW but the one that I love the most I had to repost.  This video is worth watching and confirms everything I have ever thought about TEBOW.  He is not perfect but a great man!

A NIGHT THAT MADE ME SMILE

This post was originally published by Pastor Dustin our other Family Pastor at Fellowship Church.  I hope you enjoy!

Last night at reMIX we had a baptism service for those that wanted to step out and make their faith public and get baptized.  27 students ended up getting baptized.  Then we celebrated like it was 1999!

Guest Blogger: BRIAN HOUSTON

I love taking time throughout the week and reading what is going on in the lives of other pastors.  The easiest way for me to do this is through blogs just like this one.  As many of you know a few years ago Michelle and I had the opportunity to travel to Sydney, Australia on vacation.  While in Sydney we had the opportunity to attend HILLSONG CHURCH and meet Pastor Brian Houston.  It was a real highlight of our trip.

Today as I was scrolling through some blogs I follow I came upon this blog post from Pastor Brian and thought I should share.  My only question after reading this is why the song "BREAK FREE" was not chosen as well.  Hope you enjoy!

Sheet musicSo we all know there is nothing funny about being in gaol ('jail' for all my North American friends), or the crimes that people commit to land themselves
there. But the following story is pretty funny...
Each week, I receive hundreds of letters from people all over the world.  My team and I are diligent in ensuring we respond to every 'reasonable' request.  As a response to a letter I had recently received, our team was preparing a list of song and chord charts to send to a young man who was IN GAOL, but had made a decision for Christ and was preparing to direct a choir...making the most out of his current situation.
Our Hillsong Music team (HMA) sent through a random selection of some of our songs and as one of the great people from my office was printing them off, she had to smile...
Have a read of this list of song titles in light of the fact that the recipient is in prison:
   Forever and a Day
   To You Alone
   Home
   More than Life
   One Way
   Evermore
   Take All of Me
   For All You¹ve Done
What a great selection!
Praying for this guy and everyone else who regularly writes to us from prison. It is always good to hear from you.
Be blessed everyone,
Brian H.

Camp Bahamas Update!!!!

Hey Guys....this is what we know so far.  Lester (builder for camp)wasn't able to do a complete report as it was still raining pretty hard and blowing about 40-50 still.  But, here is what he reported.  We will update when we get more information.  Thanks for the prayers.

CAMP PROPERTY NEWS: Friend surveyed the latest damage to the camp site a few minutes ago. Cabins: look GOOD except for some shingles on unfinished double cabin. Gym: NO Major damage, few edges of siding flapped up, need to be replaced, roof is GOOD, scaffolding inside fell over on Gym doors, posssibly damaged, cement wall for stage collapsed. Beach: GONE. NO sand, only rock, could not even drive a car over the rock, it was that rocky! Will keep you updated as we learn more. Still waiting on Eleuthera reports. In Nassau, gusts are pretty strong, but wind is calming down considerably. No electricity, some are running generators. Went for a quick drive, many trees, lights, fences, signs down. HUGE waves at Cabbage Beach. But from what we hear, everyone is safe in Nassau. Still pray for our out island friends in Eleuthera, Long Island, and Abaco.
